Clinical
Sexology

I have completed a COSRT (College of Sexual and Relationship Therapists) accredited postgraduate training programme in clinical sexology. Put simply, sexology is the scientific study of human sexuality. This includes human sexual interest, sexual function or dysfunction, and sexual behaviours.

As a relationship counsellor, I regularly work with a sexual focus - from helping my clients discuss and improve their sex lives, to having extensive experience supporting those who have suffered sexual trauma, abuse, and rape.

As a result, I am pleased to be able to integrate working with sexual desire into my practice, offering specific support to couples who are encountering:

  • Desire discrepancy, i.e. you and your partner have different sexual desires and this is problematic for one or both of you.

  • Low libido.

  • Loss of desire.

  • Difficulties with arousal.
