What Is Relationship Counselling?

Counselling is a process which helps you to come to terms with a problem, with the ultimate aim of overcoming it.  I specialise in helping with problems to do with relationships.  That could be a marriage that has hit a rough patch, or perhaps a past relationship which ended badly and is still causing you pain.

I will work with you to help you to understand what has gone wrong, and to find a way past the problem.  The four main types of counselling session which I offer are described below, but if you are dealing with something that doesn't fit neatly into one of these boxes, please do get in touch to discuss how I may be able to help.

About Me

I am a specialist relationship counsellor with extensive experience working with couples, military marriages, and historical domestic abuse.

My Approach

I offer a safe and non-judgemental space to facilitate open and honest conversations about the difficulties in your relationship.

We will work together to understand the root cause of these difficulties, and I will offer tools to help you overcome them.

Relationship
Check-Up

Every relationship has its good and bad days. Why not take time for a quick 'check up', to help nip small problems in the bud?

Historical
Abuse

Not all relationships turn out to be positive experiences, and sometimes we need help to move beyond them.

Clinical Sexology

Sexology is the scientific study of human sexuality. This includes human sexual interest, sexual function/dysfunction and sexual behaviours.
